“I can count at least 8 fires I have attended.

We know the impact and shock a fire like this can have on all associated with the business. We know it’s a complex process to get back to where the business was.

This is when you start seeing the way costs to repair and rebuild are classified into all the sublimits within your business insurance policy. Debris, professional fees, all the associated additional costs you might overlook, they can have their own limits within your policy.

It’s common for these limits to be perceived as too expensive, unnecessary, unclear and often they are minimised. But there are ways of having these covers to the levels you might need, without notable costs.

We look in more detail at what is driving the premiums within a program and reconfigure the way covers are set up. It can make a huge difference either way you look at it.

In some cases it has been possible to have substantially more cover at a lower price. Your business could have been incorrectly rated through a variety of factors.
